The Kamakura trip with the culture class was the most satisfying. I think it was very satisfying because in the culture class we were able to learn a lot about the different places we were going to visit, and then when we went to those places they seemed a lot more interesting because we understood their purpose and why they were important.

What were your goals in attending the KCP program?

To challenge myself and improve my Japanese skills as much as I could in just one short semester.

Why did you select this program?

Cost, location, and it best fit into the time restraints that I was working under.

Choosing KCP was largely to do with the ease of application. A lot of other summer courses required a lot of paperwork and recommendations and transcripts that are a big pain to gather. But KCP’s application process was very easy and self-explanatory! Also, the student life photos looked interesting!
