The term sushi  comes from a no longer used antiquated grammatical form and literally means “sour-tasting.” The term reflects its historic origins as a type of fermented food. Today, sushi is one of the most popular dishes synonymous to Japan.Conveyor belt sushiKaitenzushi (回転寿司) or conveyor belt sushi is a type of sushi restaurant characterized by the conveyor belt that winds through the eatery. It carries around plates of sushi accessible to diners who can just pluck out whatever they want as the dishes pass them. The price per plate of sushi varies and tend to be much cheaper compared to conventional sushi restaurants. Sushiro is one of the largest conveyor belt sushi company in Japan with about 140 million customers being serviced in a year with over 500 restaurants in Japan.
